CACHE Level 3 CYPW -Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce (Early Years Pathway)
Why do you need the Level 3 CYPW
The level 3 CYPW is the new Level 3 childcare qualification for all practitioners in the Early Years workforce which confers occupational competence in early years and home-based settings, replacing all previous qualifications such as NVQ's etc (this includes nursery nurse training / nursery nurse qualifications among others)
Course Structure: The Diploma consists of many units however we combine these units into 3 sensibly sized Modules.
Course Length: Each of the 3 Modules takes around 4 months to complete so the total course length is approximately 12-15 months.
Areas of Delivery: MNT have assessors and are alble to support learners within the following locations:
- South/South East of England
- London
- Dorset, Wiltshire, North Somerset, Berkshire
- Manchester, Cheshire
Delivery:
Option A:Online/Home Study (no classroom attendance will be required at all, although learners will require internet access).
Option B: Learners based in Hampshire have the option to study via classroom based sessions and may be eligible for a bursary from Hampshire County Council - our next classroom based sessions start September 2012 and are likely to be in Winchester/Basingstoke/Aldershot- please call 0844 8268 446 to express your interest in one of these locations and for further information on this study route. We are a Hampshire County Council approved provider.
Support: All learners will have one to one support from their assessor who will come to visit them in their workplace setting and their own personal tutor available via phone/email.
Funding/Fees:
Option 1: For learners in specific areas of the South and South East, we are able to offer SFA (SKills Funding Agency) funding or part funding to support individual learners,(learners will be required to meet certain funding criteria in order to access funding). Option 2: Many learners will be able to gain bursaries from their local authority to cover most or all of the course fees- contact your local authority early years department to see if you are eligible (please contact us if you are unsure how to do this).
Option 3: Self funding- learners not elgibile for funding via Options 1 or 2 above will need to pay themselves. Each Module costs £395 (incl VAT). (Staggered payments available please contact us for details).
Enrolling: Learners can enrol and start the course at anytime to suit them - there is no need to wait (apart from Hampshire based learners opting for the classroom based study route) . Please download the information/application form on the right.
