CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools

This course provides learners with an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in school environments.

Course Structure: This Level 3 Award consists of 4 units. For a breakdown of these units please refer to the course content tab on the menu to the right.

Course Length: We suggest a completion time of 4 months but you can complete the course more quickly or slowly than this if you choose - we work at your pace providing you complete the course within 3 years.

Delivery: Home Study (No classroom attendance will be required at all)

Assessments: Study materials are emailed to learners upon enrolment on the course. Learners will complete the written assessments and email these back to us upon completion. (For learners without email we can post study materials for an additional fee of £15.  Learners outside the UK should contact us for details of overseas postage charges.)

Support: All learners will have telephone/email access to a supportive and friendly personal tutor for any queries they have whilst completing the course.

Course Fee: £400 (Plus £48 CACHE Registration Fee - so the total cost is £448) Staggered payments are available in 4 instalments (£148, £100, £100 & £100).

Progression: Learners who have completed the Level 3 Award in Support Teaching & Learning Schools (STL) may wish to progress on to the CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (CYPW). Learners will have already completed 2 units of the Diploma within the Award in Teaching and Learning in Schools, so will not have to re-do these. The Diploma is particularly usefull if you wish to work within Reception classes in schools.

Enrolling: Learners can enrol and start the course at anytime to suit them. Please download the information/application form the right.
