We deliver 2 different Paediatric First Aid courses- a 1 day course and a 12hour (2 day) course, each course is suitable for different types of child-carer so please make sure you select the right course for you before booking:

 1. 1 Day Paediatric First Aid Course

Overview: This 1 day course is suitable for nannies and over 8's childminders who wish to register with Ofsted. All child-carers should renew their paediatric first aid training at least every 3 years. This course covers all the necessary requirements for registration on the Ofsted Voluntary register. Please note a sufficient command of the English language will be required to successfully pass this course. (This course is not suitable for under 8's childminders who need to do a 12 hour course- see below).

Venue: Kensington, London

Dates in 2010:

23rd October (spaces available)
11th December (spaces available)

(2011 dates will be released end Sept. 2010).

Attendance: 8.45am - 5.30p.m.

Length of Course: 1 Day

Cost of Course: £115

Assessed Course: Yes (Students will be assessed on their practical skills by the first aid trainer throughout the course and on successful completion will receive their certificate. There is no written assessment for this course).

 2. 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course

Overview: This 2 day course is an appropriate course for under 8's childminders and other child-carers needing to do a 12 hour course in order to register with Ofsted. All child-carers should renew their paediatric first aid training at least every 3 years.  Please note a sufficient command of the English language will be required to successfully pass this course.

Venue: Reading University, London Road Campus.

Dates in 2010:

24th-25th September (spaces available)
26th-27th November (spaces available)

(2011 dates will be released end Sept. 2010)

Attendance: 9.00am - 4.00 pm both days.

Length of Course: 2 Days

Cost of Course: £ 145

Assessed Course: Yes (Students will be assessed on their practical skills by the first aid trainer throughout the course and on successful completion of the 2 days, will receive their certificate. There is no written assessment for this course).
