Length of Course: 2 & a Half Days formal teaching time - plus pre-reading and post course assessment work time.

Suitable For: Experienced Nannies, Midwives, Maternity Nurses, Doulas, Maternity Unit Staff such as Nursery Nurses, HCA's.etc. The course is not suitable for beginners and is not for those without professional childcare experience, particularly with young babies. Course Content: Students cover all aspects of care of the newborn and post-natal mother, including breastfeeding. Additionally students are given advice on routines, working with parents, becoming self employed and managing their finances as well as help on how to get work in the Maternity Nurse sector.
