Post Natal Depression Course

Overview: This excellent course is designed for childcarers and others who work with post-natal mothers who wish to learn more about post-natal depression, including providing support for mothers who may be suffering with PND. The course is delivered by a highly experienced PND counsellor and trainer.

Accreditation: This course is accredited by the Open College Network (OCN OTC) at level 3 and carries 3 credits.

Venue: University of Reading, London Road Campus


Dates in 2012: 

• Saturday 17th March
• Saturday 22nd September

Cost: £170 (this includes the assessment fee and VAT)

Attendance: 9.30-4.30 pm

Length of Course: 1 Day

Assessed Course: Yes, students will need to successfully complete the post course assessment at home following the course.  Assessments are sent to learners via email after the course - saving learners both time and money. Learners are required to submit their assessments back to us via email.  (Alternative postal arrangements are available for learners unable to use email - however this incurs an additional fee of £15 for UK based learners - this is paid after the course).

Suitable for: Anyone affected by PND (themselves or family members), or those who work with post-natal mothers including Nannies, Childminders, Maternity Nurses, Health Visitors, Nursery Nurses, Doulas, Mental Health professionals.
