Do you or your staff need to learn more about engaging children with ICT?

If yes, then this is the course for you/them. This course is designed for all those who work with or care for children including very young children. It provides information on how to engage children with ICT in an age appropriate way which supports development, taking into account statutory requirements for ICT education. It considers the use of ICT with children under 5 as well as children in Key Stage 1 at school.

The course is an online course and so can be studied any time from your own home- there is no classroom attendance required and learners can enrol at any time. There are discounts available for multiple bookings.

Course Length:Completion time for this course is 4 weeks including assessments

Delivery: Home Study, learners log into our online learning portal- MNT LEARNING- to study this course- there is no classroom attendance required at all. On successful completion of the assessments, learners will receive their results and certificate via email. (If a hard copy certificate is required via post we can arrange this for £10 for UK learners and slightly more for international learners please call/email for details).

Support:All learners will have telephone/email access to a supportive and friendly personal tutor for any queries they have whilst completing the course.

Learners must ensure their computer meets the minimum requirements as refunds cannot be given once enrolled. If you have any concerns about this please call us and we will be happy to offer support. These requirements include:

  1. Internet access and a working email address

  2. Up to date internet browser such as: internet explorer/safari/google chrome/firefox (if your browser is not up to date your screen may not display the content as it should. Please call us if you wish us to help you check your browser and how to update it if needed- it's very easy- even we can do it!)

  3. Use of a computer to study the course - tablets and smartphones are not advisable for studying as the display and functionality can be affected.

  4. Additionally learners should be familiar with navigating a website and have used a Word Processing package such as Microsoft Word in the past.
